In 2017 the Great Barrier Reef was declared terminal, scientists said there was no hope for it. I was so sad at the thought of this I began learning all I could about the reef. Then, in 2018 a scientist in Florida demonstrated new ways of regenerating coral, giving us hope that reefs around the world could be saved despite global warming. These reefs are my daydream of their survival, tiny dots of blue, gold and amber piled up to form shoals and reefs as they would be seen from above.
